Calculator versus routine tracker
PepCalc is a single-purpose reconstitution calculator: enter peptide amount, water volume, units and tick marks, and it returns per-unit or per-tick-mark dosing, with saved protocols and multi-peptide blend math. It explicitly markets itself for research and educational calculation, not medical use, and does not include reminders, logging or a compound library.
DoseRoutine includes reconstitution calculation as one step inside a broader routine: the same protocol also gets a reminder schedule, an intake log, vial inventory with expiry tracking, injection-site rotation history, and interaction checks against other things you take.
Where the categories differ
PepCalc's own listing describes it as a math utility with no signup, no logging and data kept on-device — a calculator, not a tracker. It does not claim medication reminders, adherence history or lab tracking.
DoseRoutine's reconstitution calculator produces the same kind of syringe-reading output, then keeps that calculation attached to a schedule, a vial record and a log of what was actually taken.
- Dose reminders and adherence history
- Vial inventory with beyond-use tracking
- Injection-site rotation map
- Interaction checks across a full stack
- Lab tracking with reference ranges
Choosing between them
If all you need is a one-off mixing calculation with no ongoing log, PepCalc's focused calculator does that job directly. If the calculation is the start of an ongoing protocol you need reminders, vial tracking and history for, that is what DoseRoutine adds on top.
