GLOW is a marketing name for a pre-mixed peptide blend that normally contains GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500 in a single vial, sold for skin, hair and soft-tissue recovery. None of the three has approved human evidence for those uses, and because the components are fixed in one vial you cannot adjust or stop them independently.
Search "glow peptide" and you'll find a hundred product pages and almost no explanation of what you'd actually be injecting. GLOW isn't a compound. It's an acronym-style product name that suppliers use for a fixed mix — and the exact ratio changes between sellers, which is the first thing worth knowing about it.
What the letters usually stand for
The common formulation is three compounds:
- GHK-Cu (copper tripeptide) — a copper-binding tripeptide studied mostly in skin biology for collagen synthesis, wound remodelling and hair follicle signalling. Most of the credible human data is topical, in cosmetics, not injected.
- BPC-157 — a synthetic fragment derived from a gastric protein, studied extensively in rodents for tendon, ligament and gut healing. No controlled human trials support the injury-repair claims.
- TB-500 — a synthetic fragment related to thymosin beta-4, associated with cell migration and angiogenesis in preclinical models.
Some sellers list a fourth ingredient or swap TB-500 for a different thymosin fragment. Some list the total milligrams without a per-compound breakdown at all. If a vial does not state each compound's milligram content separately, you cannot calculate a dose for any of them.
Why people buy it
The pitch is convenience and a combined effect: skin and hair from the GHK-Cu, soft-tissue recovery from the BPC-157 and TB-500, one injection instead of three. For someone new to peptides that's genuinely appealing — one vial, one reconstitution, one number to remember.
That's also the problem.

The dosing problem nobody mentions on the product page
A blend locks three variables together. Concretely:
You can't titrate. If the GHK-Cu dose is right for you but the BPC-157 is too high, your only lever is to reduce all three at once.
You can't isolate a side effect. Flushing, injection-site irritation or a headache after a blend tells you nothing about which component caused it. With separate vials you drop one and find out in a week.
You can't isolate a benefit either. If your tendon feels better after six weeks, you have no idea which of the three did it — or whether the deload week did it.
The maths gets harder, not easier. A "10 mg GLOW" vial containing 5 mg GHK-Cu, 3 mg BPC-157 and 2 mg TB-500 reconstituted in 2 mL means every 0.2 mL delivers 500 mcg / 300 mcg / 200 mcg respectively. Run that through a reconstitution calculator rather than eyeballing it, and log the per-compound amounts rather than "1 tick of GLOW".
What the evidence actually supports
GHK-Cu has the most respectable literature of the three, and almost all of it is dermatological and topical — copper peptide serums in cosmetic research showing collagen and skin-quality endpoints. Extrapolating that to systemic injection for hair regrowth is a jump the data doesn't make.
BPC-157 and TB-500 are Tier 3 compounds in the evidence framework we use across the peptide library: striking rodent results, essentially no controlled human trials, widespread anecdotal use. Both are prohibited in competitive sport under WADA's S0 category, which matters if you're tested.
