What we store
Your account (email), profile (age band, sex, height, weight, timezone, unit preference), the compounds and doses you add, your schedule, whether doses were taken, and your subscription status.
How we use it
To run the app for you: schedule reminders, check interactions, show adherence, and generate plan suggestions. Reminder emails and push notifications are sent only when you opt in.
Health app data (Apple Health / Health Connect)
If you turn on health sync in the app, DoseRoutine reads the data types you explicitly authorize (steps, active energy, heart rate, weight) and writes back only entries you created yourself in the app — logged workouts, meals, and body weight. Health data is used solely to show you your own progress inside the app. We never use it for advertising or marketing, never sell or share it with data brokers or advertisers, and never send it to third parties for their own purposes. It stays on your device and in your own encrypted account records. You can revoke any health permission at any time in your device settings; the rest of the app keeps working without it.
Who we share with
Infrastructure providers we use to run the service: our hosting and database provider, our payment providers (Stripe for web checkout; Apple or Google for in-app purchases made on iPhone or Android), and our email delivery provider. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.
AI processing
When you use the Plan Generator, your stack (compound names, doses, timing) is sent to our AI provider to produce a suggested schedule. We do not send your name, email, or medical history.
Storage & security
Data is stored in encrypted managed databases with row-level access controls so only your account can read your records. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and never stored by DoseRoutine directly.
Your rights
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from inside the app at any time: More → Delete account. You can also export your data or request deletion by emailing support. If you're in the EU/UK, you have the additional rights described under GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection). If you're in California, you have the rights described under the CCPA/CPRA.
Cookies
We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Children
DoseRoutine is intended for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
DoseRoutine stores your account email, profile details (age band, sex, height, weight, timezone, and unit preference), the compounds and doses you add, your schedule, whether doses were taken, and your subscription status. This is the information needed to run reminders, interaction checks, and adherence tracking.
Does DoseRoutine sell or share my data with advertisers?
No. DoseRoutine shares data only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the service — its hosting and database provider, Stripe for payments, and its email delivery provider. It does not sell your data and does not share it with advertisers.
Is my stack data sent to AI providers?
When you use the Plan Generator, your stack — compound names, doses, and timing — is sent to DoseRoutine's AI provider to produce a suggested schedule. Your name, email, and medical history are not sent as part of that request.
Can I delete my data or exercise GDPR/CCPA rights?
Yes. You can export or delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support. EU/UK users have the additional rights described under GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection, and California residents have the rights described under the CCPA/CPRA.
How is my data secured?
Data is stored in encrypted managed databases with row-level access controls so only your account can read your records. Passwords are handled by DoseRoutine's authentication provider and are never stored by DoseRoutine directly.
The short version
You own your health data. We store what you enter so the app can function across your devices, we do not sell it, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to train third-party models. Access is restricted at the database level so that your rows are readable only by your authenticated account.
The data we hold is what you would expect: your account identity, the compounds and protocols you have set up, your dose logs and notes, any body metrics or meal entries you record, and photos you upload to the meal scanner. Nothing else about you is collected from third-party data brokers or appended to your profile.
Where processing happens
Some features send data to processors in order to work at all. The meal scanner sends the photo you take to an AI vision provider to identify the food; the AI assistant sends your question and the relevant context needed to answer it. Those requests are made for your session and are not used to build a marketing profile.
Everything else — schedules, reminders, interaction checks, calculators and the compound library — is served from our own systems and requires no third-party processing.
Your controls
You can export your data at any time, and you can delete your account, which removes your rows rather than flagging them as hidden. Deletion is irreversible, so exporting first is worth the extra minute if you want a record.
If you have a question about a specific piece of data, ask and we will tell you exactly what is stored and why. A privacy policy that cannot answer that question in plain language is not doing its job.
